* Backstory: a mysterious man that showed up on the shores of Odd Isle. He drifts from place to place in an attempt to escape his regrets and failures.
*Personality: Mostly Lazy and unmotivated but with an incredible heart of gold he begrudgingly always helps the people around him despite the ridiculous situations they put him in.
* Likes: relaxing, drinking from time to time, hanging out with the other villagers
* Dislikes: working, astrology, and magic
* Favorite Foods: Almonds

Tre

* Birthday: March 27th
* Backstory: A former king of Odd Isle from a millennium ago, he was assassinated before ever being able to achieve all his ambitions. Now revived again in the present odd isle with the memories he resents, his main past time is spent constantly picking fights and battling as it gives him a rush.
*Personality: Not tied down by his kingly duties he is eccentric and incredibly abrasive. Despite his more difficult personality, when he does warm up to you he treats you like an old friend
* Likes: setting things on fire, fighting, fighting the captain, his twin blades
* Dislikes: waiting around for things to happen, his existential crises <3

the Captain was a like a boxer who was desperate to reach the top so he made a deal with some yakuza/pirates to sponsor him to the top but on his championship match he lost it and cause he made a deal with mafia yakuza pirates they took his eye as payment
With no more ambition he basically became a pirate himself and jumped from ship to ship
On one of those ships he found a really valuable sword that could make him Rich and so he stole it but then the pirates he was working with started chasing him so he tried to unsheath the sword to fight and it broke in two that’s when a burst of flame came out and Tre appeared and saved the captain
Tre is the King of odd isle from a 1000 years ago he’s like a Joshua Lewyn where he never wanted to be royalty so when marriage came around his fiancé offered him a deal they get married she becomes queen then he can finally leave and explore the world
Tre happily accepted this offer but on the evening before his wedding he was stabbed burned and sealed in the sword and he showed up where the captain is filled with intense resentment.
The two are able to escape and end up on odd isle where they are stuck working together and helping each other survive suburban political drama

  • Yakuza au: Captain is a former boxer who made a deal with the yakuza lost his eye and became a gambler (specifically a good poker player). Tre is a yakuza who was on the rise in his family when he was ousted and left for dead. He runs into the captain and recruits him to help get revenge

  • Spira au: Tre is a summoner on a pilgrimage to save the world and the captain is a measly ship captain that has offered to help Tre on this journey

  • OddEmblem au: Tre is disgraced prince who runs away from home and the captain is a pirate who has a chance meeting with him and decides to help on his path to save his country from evil dragon cult

  • Genshin au: the captain was a scholar at the akedemiya for a time but he got bored of reading about the world and decided to leave and explore the world as a pirate merchant whatever and one day when he stumbled into that Liyue chasm and found Tre. Tre is trapped in a khanrein sword or whatever that causes him to remember every teyvat time loop and he’s accepted that the captain is going to die so he’s decided to travel with the captain and enjoy every moment he can before that happens and the loop begins all over again
